GongFuCha

Have you ever wondered what the tea equivalent of a sommelier is in the East? In the millennia-old Asian tradition, there is a role that embodies the spirit of tea — a cultural guide within their community: the GongFuCha .

About CHA DAO

Cha Dao literally means “The Way of Tea” in Chinese. It is an ancient philosophy and practice that goes beyond the mere preparation and consumption of tea.

It is a spiritual and cultural path that seeks harmony between the individual, nature, and the essence of tea. In Cha Dao, every stage — from the selection of the leaves to the ceremony itself — is carried out with mindfulness, respect, and gratitude, fostering a deep connection with the present moment and nurturing inner peace. More than just a beverage, tea becomes a medium for cultivating serenity and wisdom.
